Since 1974, Wheatsfield has been cooperatively owned by individuals in the community. Join us in supporting the local community and economy, local employment, a safer environment, sustainable agriculture, nutrition education, small scale farmers, local farms and cooperative development.

Membership is a one-time, refundable, equity share of $100, not an annual fee. You can make payments of at least $10 for up to 10 months or pay for it all at once.


Want to give membership as a gift? You can do this over the phone or in person at the store, we just ask that you pay in full so that everything is squared away. We will give you a "Co-op Gift Membership" certificate as well as a brochure that introduces the store to gift to your receiver. The receiver will need to visit the co-op to finalize the membership process.

It isn't necessary to be a member to shop at the co-op, but being a member does have some excellent benefits.
