Thai Peanut Sauce

This recipe was originally shared in the community class "Thai Peanut Sauce Two Ways" on February 7, 2012 by Becky Ringsby. Use it as the base for Thai Pizza and Thai Tempeh and Green Bean Stir-Fry  or whatever Thai recipe you want to whip-up!

Start with 1/4-1/3 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

Optional add-ins (to taste):

• Hoisin sauce (about 1 Tbsp.)
• 1 green onion, finely diced
• Lime juice (from 1/2 lime, about 1 Tbsp.)
• Soy sauce (about 1-2 tsp.)
• Ginger, grated (about 1/2 Tbsp.)
• Garlic, minced (2 cloves, about 2 tsp.)
• Honey (about 1 Tbsp.)
• Sriracha (a squirt or to desired heat)
• Fish sauce (about 1/2 tsp.), optional
• Broth or coconut milk, for
   thinning to desired consistency
