BAKERY F.A.Q.'S

Do you make gluten-free baked goods?

Our bakery is not a gluten-free certified kitchen, however we take extra precautions when preparing gluten-free items. These items are individually wrapped.

Do you make vegan baked goods?

Yes we do! Actually the co-op's baker, Caitlin, is a vegan. Consider this her specialty! If you have a question, she is also willing to share her knowledge on this topic.

Will you share a recipe?

Most of our bakery items are prepared from recipes developed for large batches and are based on weight measurements. It requires conversions to mimic these recipes for smaller home size batches.

A pleasure for your eyes and a delight for your tastebuds. From bars to scones, from cupcakes to cheesecake, from macarons to cookies, from tiered cakes to pies, from gluten-free to vegan our bakery department makes it all. All our baked goods are made from scratch, free of artificial ingredients and use organic, local or seasonal ingredients when possible.

We are happy to fill custom pre-orders for occasions, large and small like weddings, graduations and birthdays. Around the holiday times we take pre-orders for pies and we are always happy to bake you a pie or cake! Call the store and talk to Caitlin, our baker, to place a special order.

Gluten-Free

While our kitchen is not certified gluten-free, our baker and entire deli staff take special precautions when making gluten-free options. They make these items in the morning before the air is filled with allergens and wrap GF baked goods individually to prevent contamination. However, we do recommend that if you have a severe allergy you understand that we are not a gluten-free certified kitchen and there are possibilities for contamination.
